Wine and Food Festival
The Okusi Vipavske Festival has been showcasing the contemporary winemaking of the Vipava Valley for the 18th consecutive year. It serves as a central platform for tastings, presentations, and networking – both for Vipava wines and for local produce and cuisine that reflect the character of the valley. On Friday, May 29, and Saturday, May 30, 2026, more than 100 wines from the Vipava Valley, along with numerous local providers, will once again gather in the atrium of Lanthieri Mansion.
The festival will be complemented by the following activities:
- a professional masterclass on the theme of Youth and Wine,
- professional workshops,
- a Saturday evening concert by Hamo in the mansion’s atrium.
Two Days of Tasting and Networking
Friday and Saturday are dedicated to everyone interested in wine and gastronomy. Visitors will be able to taste a wide selection of wines, talk to the winemakers, and sample dishes prepared by local chefs. Producers from the Vipava Market will also present their products.
This year’s focus is on the theme “Youth and Wine.” Through a masterclass and a roundtable discussion, we will explore how younger generations perceive wine and how the profession is responding to these trends.
In the unique setting of the Lanthieri Mansion
The festival takes place in the atrium of Lanthieri Mansion in Vipava, which gives the event a distinctive setting and a strong sense of connection to the site’s history. For many years, the location itself has helped shape the recognizable character of the festival.
